On 25th July we held the 2024 Annual General Meeting of the Landowners and Contractors Association at the Wellsford Memorial RSA.
There was a good turnout on the night, with 25 coming along to catch up on general business and discuss some of the core issues to tackle as an organisation.
We were privileged to have Dave Moore, a local commercial fisherman for over 40 years, join us and share his story. He gave a great insight into the world of commercial fishing and highlighted some of the parallel issues facing both fishermen and farmers.
