AGM
At the end of July we had our AGM and a full committee was re-elected. Office bearers for the upcoming year are:

Roads in Rodney
Representatives from the LCA, including Lyndon Leabourn and RLB member Colin Smith, met with Auckland Transport engineers last Friday. A short field trip to show the engineers the major problems with rural roading in the district was of great value. AT recognises the value of having a go-to organisation like LCA with its grassroots contacts in the wider community. An undertaking from AT was made to keep in contact with LCA and a similar meet-up will be organised in 6 weeks time.
2023 Election Candidates
Planning is well underway for a ‘Meet the Candidates’ meeting to be held in the Wellsford Memorial RSA on Wednesday the 6th Sept at 7pm where we will be able to meet and hear from election candidates for the upcoming general election.
